I have been looking for the perfect toy box. I don't like the traditional toy boxes because things that are out of sight are often out of mind. Even I forget to play with some of my son's toys that end up in his toy box. Plus, you can't put anything on top or it all ends up on the floor when you open the box. This storage bench was the perfect solution for my daughter. It gave her a shelf that she could reach for her books and it gave her two open cubby to keep her toys off the floor but still in sight. We love it and I would buy it again (it helped that we shopped around and got this on sale at a great price).
